Project Overview
DragonHeir: Silent Gods is a Western-style fantasy RPG built for global players, with story-driven content, cinematic moments, and large volumes of character dialogue. For this title, HS+ supported both multilingual voice-over production and localization, helping the project move across key launch languages with stronger tone control, terminology consistency, and coordinated delivery. The voice-over side covered English, Japanese, Korean, and Chinese in parallel, while the localization side supported major launch languages with editorial control designed to preserve the game's epic fantasy identity.

The Challenge
DragonHeir presented two major challenges at the same time.
The first was scale. On the voice side, the project involved 38,000+ lines, around 350 actors, 12 fully produced songs, and cross-language scheduling over a tight two-month production window. On the localization side, the game required large-scale story, dialogue, and system-text support across launch languages, with the need to preserve fantasy tone while keeping the writing readable and natural for different audiences.
The second was consistency. High-fantasy content can easily lose strength when terminology, character voice, and emotional tone drift between languages. For DragonHeir, the work had to feel epic without becoming unnatural, and multilingual assets had to remain aligned across both production and post-production.
What HS+ Delivered
HS+ supported DragonHeir through a coordinated multilingual production model that covered:
- Multilingual voice-over production in English, Japanese, Korean, and Chinese
- Cross-language project management for casting, scheduling, and delivery
- Remote live-directed sessions for faster creative alignment and retakes
- Edit, cleanup, mix, and master-to-spec post-production with version control
- Localization and editorial services from Simplified Chinese into English, Japanese, and Korean across large volumes of story, dialogue, and system text
- Terminology and tone handling to maintain a readable but still epic fantasy voice

Execution Approach
On the voice-over side, HS+ used a parallel production workflow. Daily cross-language PM coordination kept casting, session timing, and asset handoff aligned, while remote live-directed sessions enabled real-time direction and faster retakes. Post-production then processed more than 80,000 dialogue takes, applying cleanup, mix, master, standardized naming, and strict version control before delivery.
On the localization side, HS+ treated the project as a fantasy-tone challenge rather than a simple translation task. For English, the team developed a "neutral fantasy tone" — inspired by classic fantasy but without overly archaic language — so the writing stayed epic while remaining readable. Character roles and personalities were differentiated more clearly, while terminology across skills, systems, and lore was kept stable across all three launch languages.
Results
The project was delivered on schedule ahead of launch on the voice-production side, with continued support for ongoing character updates and UA / advertising voice-over after release.
On the localization side, HS+ helped preserve a consistent fantasy tone, stronger readability, and clearer terminology across high-priority launch languages. The outcome was a multilingual experience that kept the emotional and narrative weight of the original while making the game more accessible to players in both Western and Asian markets.
Outcome Highlights
- Delivered ahead of launch — Multilingual VO completed on schedule with structured post-production and delivery.
- Cross-language consistency — Fantasy tone, character voice, and terminology stayed aligned across launch languages.
- Ongoing support — HS+ continued supporting updates and UA / advertising voice-over after the main production cycle.

Why This Case Matters
DragonHeir is a strong example of what HS+ does best: handling global content as a connected production system rather than splitting localization, performance, and post into disconnected vendors. The project combined large-scale voice-over, editorial localization, cross-language PM, fantasy-tone control, and delivery discipline in one workflow. That made it possible to move fast without losing clarity, tone, or production control.
